Over de Dark Horse - Brazil
Bugio from Noca
A delicious medium to dark roasted Brazilian coffee with notes of milk chocolate, sweet caramel and a citrusy long aftertaste.
The story of Vanessa and Viviane's family with Fazenda Bugio has deep roots dating back to 1962, when their parents settled in Bugio. At that time, the property was part of their grandfather's farm, a dedicated farmer. During the pandemic, Vanessa and Viviane took the opportunity to renovate the farm's facilities and implement various improvements.
The farm is constantly innovating, from crop management to the implementation of new varieties, such as arara and topázio, construction of new drying patios and new post-harvest techniques, such as fermentations that have been very successful, resulting in coffees scoring above 88 points. Vanessa and Viviane decided to reduce the use of herbicides and adopt more sustainable practices. Four hectares of forest were planted to recover three water springs. The pursuit of coffee farming allied with the environment is a constant goal in all actions on the farm.
