About the Costa Rica
From the Tarrazú region of Costa Rica — one of the country's most respected growing areas, sitting at altitude in the mountains south of San José. This coffee comes from Coope Dota, a farmer cooperative established in 1960 that represents nearly 1,100 smallholder growers and was the first coffee processor in the world to achieve carbon-neutral certification, back in 2011. Their commitment runs deep: waste becomes compost, parchment fuels the driers, and four hectares of forest have been replanted to protect water sources.
The coffee itself is a washed process, medium roast — clean and structured with caramel sweetness, notes of raspberry and orange with gentle acidity, and a smooth, long finish. An everyday beautiful coffee with an exceptional story behind it.
