Who We Are
Monks Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee roaster, trainer, retailer and cafe based in Amsterdam.
We source, roast and make beautiful coffee to be shared and enjoyed by everyone. We’re also committed to doing so in a responsible, sustainable and respectful way.
Our roastery is located in Westhavenweg where we roast on a 12kg Probat. We take great care to preserve the quality and integrity of each coffee that is carefully sourced by highlighting the most exquisite characteristics in each lot.
We are committed to creating great coffee, in a responsible and sustainability way while bringing it to the people who appreciate it even more.

We opened our cafe in the bustling Oud West district of Amsterdam in 2016. We fell in love with the location for many reasons, the most important being that it allows us to engage with a local community seeking out fresh quality coffee and food with genuine service and hospitality.
