Many people have beautiful espresso machines at home but may be unsure if they are getting the best coffee or usage from them. Then this is for you!
This course is taught by our senior baristas and is aimed at the home enthusiast who wants to increase their coffee knowledge and skills and improve their home coffee making.
You will learn about...
- Introduction to coffee history.
- The journey from the green coffee bean to your cup.
- Hands-on introduction to the workings of an espresso machine and grinder
- Espresso extraction and grinder calibration.
- Milk steaming (micro foaming) to make the perfect coffee drink.
Duration
The course lasts for about 1.5 hours, of which 1 hour is practical. Course is limited to 4 persons max. You will receive a course manual, certificate of participation and a bag of Monks delicious coffee to take home.
Where?
Training is at Monks Coffee Lab at Bilderdijkstraat 46.
The facility is fully equipped with professional equipment to give you full practical experience.
When?
This course is run on Mondays at 18:00 but it is also possible to arrange other times if they are available.
