About the Barista Course - Mondays & Wednesdays @ 16:00
Our barista course is an informal, relaxed and practical course with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and practice your new learned skills. You do not need any specific prior knowledge. Our classes are taught by our senior barista and aimed at both the professionals to increase their knowledge and sharpen their skills, home enthusiasts who want to improve their coffee making and for those who already are or wish to be in the HORECA industry.
You will learn...
- The history of coffee.
- The journey from the farm to your cup.
- How our coffee is roasted.
- Introduction to the workings of a professional espresso machine
- Espresso extraction and setting up your grinder (dialing in).
- Milk steaming (micro foaming) to make the perfect coffee drink.
The course lasts for about 2 hours, split between practical theory, discussion and hands on machine time. Course is limited to 4 persons max. You will receive a course manual, certificate of participation (optional).
